Venue: Museum in Docklands
Project: Theme Lighting of the Museum in Docklands
Disciplines: Meuseum Lighting, Dispaly Lighting, Track Lighting and Theatrical Lighting

Brief:

The museum explores the story of London's River, Port and People, from Roman settlement of the port, through to its recent regeneration as Canary Wharf - a 2000 year storyline. Stretching over five floors in a converted Georgian warehouse, which is itself an integral part of the overall visitor experience, the museum contains 12 major galleries and a children's gallery. Many of the museum's thousands of objects are unique, having been rescued during the 1970s and 80s after containerisation and competition forced London's port to move downstream.

The brief was to light all the exhibits as well as theme parts of the museum to offer the visitor a real experience of the sights and smells of that era.
